Spotify one of the most loved audio streaming platform is now live in India. It was launched on October 7, 2008 and since then it has been among the top streaming platform across the globe. Spotify can get you access to over 40 million tracks.  I have been using Spotify for a while now .

You can listen to Podcasts, new releases, viral releases which are neatly organised for you in the browse section. The ‘Genres and Moods’ section is the best where you can tune into music according to your taste. The recommendation are great in Spotify probably the best in the market. Once you get your subscription you can listen uninterrupted and download songs without any limit. The subscription plans vary from monthly to annual payments. Now, towards the downside of  using Spotify, it is costly compared to its Indian competitors. If you are using the free version you are most likely to be pestered by the incessant adds which can ruin your listening experience. The college verification process in order to avail the student discount is pretty arduous. The app lacks a good regional music collection as compared to platforms like Jio Saavn, Gaana , Hungama, Wynk  etc. If you are not much into Western music then probably you shouldn’t consider getting a subscription as of now.
